Due to the associated rapid expansion SSAB moved from a small store on the outskirts of Apia town to a central location as part of the main mall in Apia. This has remained the main store with two more being added to cope with products and demand – one in the same complex and one large separate facility dedicated to office furniture and imaging equipment.
In December 2012, SSAB relocated to its own premises at Togafuafua which is now called “SSAB Megastore” closing down its office furniture and imaging equipment branch which was located at Fugalei. SSAB Megastore stocks home and office furniture, electronics, stationery, office equipment, home appliances, cleaning products, electronics, heavy duty copiers and more.
SSAB has steadily grown to become your-one-stop-shop for all your office, furniture and home needs.
SSAB continues to offer Samoan consumers benefits not only by its diverse range of quality goods on sale but also by conducting various trainings which align with SSAB’s core value which is “we care about our customers”. Samoa Stationery and Books (‘SSAB’) was founded in 2008 by Fiti Leung Wai in response to increasing demand from the Samoan public for value-driven pricing on stationery and associated supplies with an emphasis on service.
Meeting and exceeding demand in the areas of value and service meant that since its humble beginnings, SSAB has expanded to include office furniture, computers, electronics and imaging equipment as a natural progression from office supplies. SSAB has grown to represent quality, value and service. Clients now prefer to streamline their office purchasing systems by asking SSAB to assist with big ticket items. This had let to a one-stop-shop approach to supply and demand that works for both client and SSAB.
